In 2015, the airport announced their interior rebranding project known as “Destination CLT.” The goal was to make the arrival and departure experience more engaging for passengers, especially those local to the Charlotte area. The scope of the project was a large one, with changes needing to be made in the lobby , food court, check-in areas, terminal maps, and other areas of the hub that travelers use every day. 2. Lenticular Graphics: A Legacy of Turning Pictures Few things are as fascinating in a public space as signage that changes as you move past it. While signage usually communicates one brand, image, or message at a time, a lenticular wall display is designed to communicate two. The ability of lenticular signs to give the illusion of changing as observers move allows for all who see the sign to not only engage with the message but to be captivated by the experience of seeing it. A lenticular wall display is a custom sign fabrication utilizing a concept that has origins as far back as the 16th century when they were referred to as “tabula scalata” or “turning pictures.” Now in the 21st century, the basic principle of lenticular displays remains the same. It is comprised of two images that are separated into vertical strips and applied to a corrugated substrate. York County Sheriff’s Office Turns to Heritage Signs & Displays to Create a Unique History Wall When the York County Sheriff’s Office had undergone a major update to their facility, Major Hudgins reached out to James Zambrano, a project manager at BlueFire, a division of Heritage Signs & Displays. Major Hudgins wanted the BlueFire Team to update the York County Sheriff’s Office wall with new branding to highlight the history of the organization. Upon hearing the request, we were more than happy to assist the York County Sheriff’s Office in this endeavor. A Rejuvenated Wall of Remembrance and a Straightforward Installation Process The history of the York County Sheriff’s Office is long and involved, which required a large wall wrap for the hallway that leads to the main meeting room, where press conferences are regularly conducted for local TV news in surrounding communities such as Rock Hill and Fort Mill. The Heritage Team Wins 24 Awards at the 2021 PICA Awards

The Printing Industry of the Carolinas (PICA) has announced that Heritage Signs & Displays of Charlotte is an award winner in the 2021 PICA Awards Competition . The announcement was made on April 2, 2022, during the 2021 PICA Awards Banquet held in Charlotte, North Carolina. The PICA Awards competition is celebrating its 56th season and continues to be one of the largest printing contests in the nation. This year, the PICA Awards attracted more than 400 entries from 32 printing companies, along with more than 149 entries from 6 graphic arts high schools and 6 college graphic arts programs from across the Carolinas. Heritage Signs & Displays won 18 Best of Category Awards, 4 Special Judges Awards, and 1 Award of Excellence . Only one “Best of” may be given in each category.
